In 2020, I found myself confronting many questions and encountering a variety of realizations. As the world came to a standstill and we lived through days with no visible way out, I experienced a strange sensation, as if the color around me were gradually fading away.

Each day, I took walks around my neighborhood with my child to keep our bodies moving. During those walks, the vivid colors of the sun, the sky, the trees and the flowers brought comfort to my heart. At home, I sought not only the colors visible to the eyes, but also bright colors found in music, in memories, and in my imagination.

The desire to seek vibrant colors in everyday life felt very similar to the feeling of waiting for spring. Stepping outside to breathe fresh air and discovering beautifully blooming flowers moved to me more deeply than ever before. Even as people's lives changed, I was sustained by the unwavering generosity of nature. From the small flowers before my eyes, I learned and received ideas.

Embracing these unfamiliar yet certain sensations,I reflected carefully and created each piece, one by one.
